This Watercolour Course consists of 3 classes, each lasting 2.5 hours. It makes the perfect gift for someone (or you can always treat yourself of course.....)
 
The classes will take place at the Love Painting Studio at Tree Tops Nursery on Holmes Chapel Road
 
The course dates are as follows:
Sunday 11th August
Sunday 18th August
Sunday 25th August
 
Start time is 10.30am and we will finish at 1pm
 
The course is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to those with some art experience. Each painting will be taught step by step, with plenty of demonstrations throughout the course. Participants can work at their own pace and receive individual guidance to progress their watercolour skills.
 
Even if you have previously attended our watercolour course, each class is unique, so you won't be repeating the same material. We encourage you to come back again and again!
 
The price for the course of 3 classes is £115 per person
 
Here is an overview of what will be covered in each class:
 
Week 1 - Watercolour Techniques and colour theory and mixing
Learn basic watercolour techniques and learn how and when to apply them. Create a painting of wildflowers, using the various techniques and colour combinations we have learned
 
Week 2 - Watercolour Texture
Learn how to create different textures in watercolour. And create a painting of a landscape using various techniques and adding texture to the landscape
 
Week 3 - Mixing Media with watercolour
Find out how to use pens and ink and other medium alongside your watercolour
 
Throughout the three sessions, we will also cover methods of transferring pictures onto paper and explore different composition guidelines.
 
This short course aims to be informative and enjoyable for all participants. You will learn lots and gain the confidence to try these techniques on your own. There is no pressure or judgment, and everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. We provide all the necessary equipment and materials, so just bring your imagination and have fun!
 
Children over the age of 12 are also welcome to attend this course, as long as they have their own ticket and are accompanied by a paying adult.

- Painting demonstrations
- Watercolour techniques and tips for creating beautiful paintings
- Advice on materials and equipment
- Guidance on creating a good composition in your painting
- Step-by-step instruction and individual guidance to help you complete your paintings
- Advice on how to further develop your watercolour skills.
 
ART WORKSHOP BOOKINGS - CANCELLATION
Once payment has been made in full for your workshop/s, then your place is confirmed. Outside of 30 days prior to the workshop, we are happy to refund you or we are happy to move your booking to a different date.
Where cancellation is between 14 to 30 days then no refund will be given, but we are happy to re-book you into a workshop on a different date. If cancellation is within 14 days of your workshop, every effort will be made to fill your space, however, no re-booking will be made unless your space is successfully filled.
Please note that once the course has started, if you are unable to make any of the sessions, we are unable to refund a single class or part of your booking, unless we can fill your place
