This Acrylics Course consists of 3 classes, each lasting 2.5 hours. It makes the perfect gift for someone (or you can always treat yourself of course.....)
 
The classes will take place at the Love Painting Studio at Tree Tops Nursery on Holmes Chapel Road
 
I intend to run the acrylics course on an ongoing monthly basis, but purchase of this item will book your sessions for the following dates:
Saturday 3rd August
Saturday 7th September
Saturday 5th October
 
Start time is 10.00am and we will finish at 12.30pm
 
The course is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to those with some art experience. 
 
The price for the course of 3 classes is £125 per person, or £45 per class
You can choose to pay in full for 3 sessions (£125)
or split it over 3 months using Klarna or Paypal 'Pay in 3'
I was going to have a subscription service but it doesnt seem to work properly!  I may offer this in future if I can get it working!!
 
Here is an overview of what will be covered in each class:
 
Week 1 - Colour palettes and colour mixing - how to avoid mud!
We will be looking in depth at choosing colours for your palette and mixing colours to achieve bright clean colours and avoiding making muddy yuck colours.  Then you can create a small painting on a canvas board using your chosen colour scheme
 
Week 2 - Acrylic techniques, making great skies, scumbling and blending colours.  Again you will be able to create a painting on canvas board using these techniques
 
Week 3 - Using texture mediums. You'll love this one.  Messing about with texture is so much fun.  We can all create a painting of a rocky mountain scene on canvas board.
 
Because we are spending time learning these techniques and trying different things out, the finished paintings will be smaller than in the one-off painting sessions - but you will be so proud of them, and you'll have learned so much AND had lots of fun AND cake too!
 
Going forward we will also be looking at different techniques, different brushes, glazing and washes, mixing different media with acrylics and also looking at styles of painting, realism, impressionist, pointillism, abstract etc etc
 
Throughout the first three sessions, we will also cover methods of transferring pictures onto paper and explore different composition guidelines.
 
These sessions aim to be informative and enjoyable for all participants. You will learn lots and gain the confidence to try these techniques on your own. There is no pressure or judgment, and everyone is welcome, regardless of skill level. We provide all the necessary equipment and materials, so just bring your imagination and have fun!
 
The classes will include:
- Painting demonstrations
- Techniques and tips for creating beautiful paintings
- Advice on materials and equipment
- Guidance on creating a good composition in your painting
- Step-by-step instruction and individual guidance to help you to learn the most you can
- Advice on how to further develop your skills.

ART WORKSHOP BOOKINGS - CANCELLATION
Once payment has been made in full for your workshop/s, then your place is confirmed. Outside of 30 days prior to the workshop, we are happy to refund you or we are happy to move your booking to a different date.
Where cancellation is between 14 to 30 days then no refund will be given, but we are happy to re-book you into a workshop on a different date. If cancellation is within 14 days of your workshop, every effort will be made to fill your space, however, no re-booking will be made unless your space is successfully filled.
Please note that once the course has started, if you are unable to make any of the sessions, we are unable to refund a single class or part of your booking, unless we can fill your place
