This is our most popular class and perfect for all the dog  - or cat, or rabbit owners out there!
 
This class is aimed at all levels, from complete beginner to those with some art experience. You don't have to be great at drawing to be part of this class, we do the hard bits together!!
This is your opportunity to create a beautiful colourful painting of your own pet in acrylic paint, with lots of guidance and lots of advice. Or you could paint someone else's pet and give it to them as a gift!
 
Come and paint without feeling any pressure or worry that you'll be the worst in the room, or that it might be too difficult for you, it wont be. I promise. What you will have is a great time, and lots of fun and no stress. Be prepared for it to be quite emotional though! We have lots of happy tears in this class when people realise just how well they have painted their much loved pet!
 
The course is lead by Jill Aspin, the owner of Love Painting, Cheshire.
Jill will walk through the painting process in easy steps, painting along with you, and offering one to one advice and help, so you can finish the class with a beautiful painting of your pet.
 
As you will all be painting different pets, please provide us with the photograph that you will be working from, at least 2 weeks before the class. (more than one photo helps alot sometimes)
By sending photos in advance, we can work out how to put your pet on canvas and ensure that your photo is useable (sometimes great photos don't transfer to great paintings... so I'll send you some info on how to take a good photo of your pet when we confirm your ticket.
 
The workshop will involve…
Painting demonstrations of different types of fur, depending on what is required around the room.
Demos of how to paint eyes, noses etc too!
Advice on materials and equipment
Paint colour mixing and brush choices
Acrylic Painting Techniques
One to one advice on how to proceed with your painting
A step by step walk through so you can create a finished painting
 
There will be a break for lunch halfway through, please feel free to bring your own lunch, or you can nip to Treetops Cafe for something in the lunch break.
 
Cost: £90 including all equipment and materials. Just bring your imagination, a print out of your pet’s photo (or have it available on your phone), and be prepared to have fun (because honestly, this is going to be so much fun....)
It starts at 10am, and we will aim to finish at 3pm, although generally it may finish closer to 3.30....
 
ART WORKSHOP BOOKINGS - CANCELLATION
Once payment has been made in full for your workshop, then your place is confirmed. Outside of 30 days prior to the workshop, we are happy to refund you (minus Eventbrite booking costs where applicable) or we are happy to move your booking to a different date.
Where cancellation is between 14 to 30 days then no refund can be given, but we are happy to re-book you into a workshop on a different date. If cancellation is within 7 days of your workshop, every effort will be made to fill your space, however, no refund will be made unless the space is successfully filled. We will try our very best though!
