Come along and create a beautiful pottery highland cow in our beautiful new Love Painting Studio at Treetops Nursery Holmes Chapel Road, Knutsford, WA16 9RA
 
The workshop is restricted to a small number participants and will run for the majority of the day, approx 10am (please arrive at 9.45ish) we will aim to finish at 3.30pm.
 
This pottery sculpting workshop will be run by the very talented Richard from Twisted Earth Ceramics. Richard is a fantastic tutor and is very patient (even when my pottery penguin was looking like anything but a penguin...) He sells his pottery sculptures in various art galleries around the country
 
The class is aimed at all levels and perfect for the complete pottery beginner.
 
In true 'Pottery Throwdown Style' you will learn some key sculpting skills (pinch, slab and coil) and in the process create your very own masterpiece.
 
A minimum of 5 participants is needed to go ahead and the class will run for the majority of the day, 10am - 3.30pm (ish). Please bring a sandwich for lunch, alternatively there is a cafe on-site at Treetops Nursery. Coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided throughout the day too.
 
The workshop includes clay, sculptor's tools, tuition, glazes, oxides and firing. The groups are warm and friendly and nobody is left behind - all abilities are welcome.
 
Cost: £90 per person - includes all materials and equipment use. Please bring an apron though, as you could get messy!
 
Please note that as your cow will need to be fired twice after the workshop is finished, it will be available for collection approximately 4-5 weeks after the workshop. We will get in touch with you as soon as we can to organise collection from the studio
