This workshop aims to tell you everything you always wanted to know about drawing (but wasn't taught it at school)!
 
If you are a complete beginner who would love to have the tools and the information to start drawing as a hobby (or even as a career!), or if you already draw but would like to improve on your skills, then this is the class for you!
 
In this session we'll be looking at:
Using different pencils for different reasons
Learning about light and shade. Creating realistic 3-Dimensional shapes, using shading techniques, shadows, highlights and negative drawing techniques
 
Behind every piece of art there is always a good drawing.... We'll learn how to transfer pictures from photos to your drawing board and changing their sizes to fit the size you want
 
We'll learn how to draw from still life, getting proportions and positioning right using simple techniques, your thumbs, pencils etc.  Plus I'll touch on perspective too.
 
Then we can start drawing something fabulous, and try different mediums too.  We have colour pencil, charcoal & chalk.  You can try them all... 
 
It sounds intense, and you'll certainly be going home with lots of new information... but overall it'll be a really fun morning. I promise you'll enjoy it...

We'll be drawing in our beautiful Love Painting Studio at Treetops Nursery Holmes Chapel Road, Knutsford, WA16 9RA
 
Tickets cost £40 for this class
OR you could choose to come to this class PLUS the Hare drawing class on Saturday 15th March (10 - 12.30) and save £10!
This includes all materials, equipment and tuition, no need to bring anything with you!
Suitable for (well behaved) Adults and Children age 10 plus (children must be supervised by a ticket holding adult!)
