Online Classes
Our brand new Zoom classes are coming very soon!
They will be informal and lots of laughs (just like a fun evening out, but sitting in comfy clothes and with added art).
Just like our in-person classes you will get step by step instructions to help you create a painting, and you can work at your own level (complete beginners are perfectly welcome!)
You can share your work - or not if you don't want to....
The sessions will be organised on a regular basis and you can join us live and paint along, asking questions as we go, or you can download the recorded class at a time to suit you.
They're perfect if you can't get to one of our in-person workshops, but still want to feel part of the class
What will I need?
Firstly you need to download Zoom on your PC, or phone.
(Wine and snacks are optional of course)
Drawing classes
You will need some paper, a sharp pencil (if you can get different pencils such as a HB and a 2B that would be great, but if not, don't worry), an eraser.
Watercolour Classes
You will need some watercolour paints (I use pans rather than squeezy tubes but use whatever you have or prefer). Some brushes, some watercolour paper (I use 300gsm Aquafine, but the choice is yours), a pot of water and some kitchen roll
Acrylics Classes
Some acrylic paint, a canvas or some acrylic paper, some brushes, a water pot and some kitchen roll
How do I join?
Just book yourself onto the class you would like to join and you will receive an invitation to the Zoom Meeting.
Just let me know if you are interested by leaving your email address below or messaging me and you will be first to know as soon as we have any new dates arranged!
We also do Zoom One to One Private lessons too!

New Tutorials Coming Soon
I'm planning to add some tonal watercolour portraits to our classes very soon. Please let me know if you are interested and I will ensure that you get to hear about them as soon as they are released....
Our Tutorials
Our tutorials are fun watercolour projects that are aimed specifically at beginners. You can paint along to a real time step by step video of me painting, and also watch videos of me demonstrating and explaining various watercolour techniques.
Watercolour doesn't have to be stuffy and 'proper'. I love having fun with paint and want to share that with you all.
Just like the face-to-face workshops we host at the Gallery, this course is aimed at complete beginners who want a 'no fuss' approach to learning a new skill.
Everything is explained to you in easy 'non-arty' language that you will understand, my aim is for you to completely 'get it' and love painting, not to sit there for hours on end struggling to figure it out.
We aim to give you all the skills to enable you to produce great paintings and importantly ENJOY creating them

I want to do a Watercolour Class - What do I need to get started ?
For the Watercolour classes, you will need a couple of different sized brushes, some watercolour paints (don't spend too much on these..) and some watercolour paper. I use 300gsm Aquafine Paper. You will also need some water, and some kitchen roll too, and a mixing pallet (you can use a dining plate as these clean off so easily!) And that's it!

Do I have to submit my work? You absolutely don't have to submit any of your work, just enjoy the tutorial. However, if you would like, you are more than welcome to submit your work for critique along the way. Please note that I will never be horrible about your work, so don't worry. What I will do is give you areas of improvement that you could work on that could make your paintings so much better, or take them to the next level...
